One of the newest and most chic nightclubs of the town – Mindspace social is a must visit for techno party lovers. They keep hosting some big names on the DJ circuit. I was lucky to attend one of their Saturday night events with Ivy Lab. Boy o boy – What a night it was!!!

Ext – The Moonshine Project

Moonshine has been around for a number of years now and it primarily focuses on live music. My heart yearns for great techno and EDM events. Ext is another club at the same venue which satiates my hunger for good techno music. They regularly host events on the weekends with some of the big DJs.

Cristoph was playing here one Friday night. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the night turned out to be a memorable one with a perfect blend of melody and energy on the songs played by Cristoph.

Illuzion Club & Kitchen

Newly opened in the posh locality of Jubilee Hills Road # 10, Illuzion is definitely one of the swankiest party spot in town. Comfortable seating arrangements with the option of standing tables as well, awesome moving lights and DJ console at the centre of everything. Double storied facility with attentive service staff.

I went on a Sunday night with fehrplay in the house. Everyone was completely hypnotised by the DJ’s melodious techno numbers. They do keep calling great international artists to perform on weekends.

Caution: If you go as a single dude to this place, you would be required to stand near the bar counter and cant go anywhere near the DJ console unless you reserve a table which would cost in excess of 10k INR. This was a big turn off for me.

Prism Club & Kitchen

Prism has been around for a few years now. Located on the outskirts of Gachibowli, one has to travel quite a bit from say hitech city or jubilee hills to reach this place.

The place is huge and has great moving heads. The attractions are the moving heads in the two intersecting circles on the ceiling. These circular structures are stacked near the ceiling when the party starts however the club moves it to different heights from the floor as the party progresses. This looks fabulous and stands as a distinguishing factor from many other night clubs in the city. You can understand more in the videos attached below.

I didn’t like the hospitality as a whole. I was given a whatsapp confirmation by their PR manager about my entry on a Saturday night. However, I had a hard time entering the club. The security staff was saying no stag entry and the manager who promised me entry was not available to intervene.

Caution: If you are a single dude, get your tickets booked upfront. One more turn off – single guys are required to stand only the near the bar counter and cant go near the dance floor or the DJ console which is a good 100 meters or so from the bar counter. My night was ruined due to this even though one of my favs DJ kan_i was in the house.
